People join Lions because they want to user their intellect, creativity, commitment and enthusiasm to get things done.

Here are the sorts of projects that your local Lions Club is doing.

Garage Sale - 3rd Saturday of each Month, from 9am till 12noon, at Lions Shed, Brian Road Lonsdale.

Christmas Cake Sales - November and December each year, via Sleigh runs door-to-door, Table Sales at Bunnings Noarlunga and availability at various retail outlets.

Eye Glass Recycling - Donations of used and/or no longer required reading glasses can be left at a variety of outlets including Optometrists at Southgate Square and Simplicity Funerals on Beach Road.

Cans, Bottles, Metal and Newspaper recycling - Donations can be collected by contacting the club.

Bunnings BBQs - One Friday each Month and occasional other days.

Catering annually at Woodcrooft Carols in the Park and Youth Vigil in the South (ANZAC Eve).

Eye Health and Diabetes Education activities - Conducted at various times and venues each year.

Youth of the Year - Public speaking activity for senior high school students.

Lions Mints Sales - through various retail outlets.

Lottery and High Tea Fundraisers - at various times each year.
